Recordings differ from one another. The time needed to transcribe a recording, e.g. a straightforward document, as opposed to a disciplinary hearing where several individuals are involved, differs.
Factors that will assist you in limiting costs and which will have an influence on the time required to finish the transcription of recording/s are:
1: The quality of each recording;
2: The pitch and tone of voices and how close or far they are from the recording device;
3: Foreign accents;
4: The number of participants / speakers involved;
5: The amount of background noise;
6: The information provided of who the speakers are, topics, spelling of names and foreign words or specific terminology.
Payment of invoices:Invoices will be e-mailed together with the finished transcription and are payable within seven (7) days of date of invoice. Internet transfers and direct deposits are acceptable. Banking details will be provided on the invoices.
